How Fast Are Diet Pills That Work? - August 6th, 2010

There are plenty of diet pills out there claiming to finally give you the diet pills that work. They talk about having all of the best natural ingredients, all of the most effective amounts, and many other components that are necessary for success. They say that their products will promote amazing results. But the major question that many of us have is how fast can you expect diet pills that work to show any given results?

There are different values for different diet pills that work. When it comes to some, you will find that they could actually help you to lose 7 pounds in 7 days and keep it off with proper diet and exercise! For the most part, with few exceptions, these are known as detoxifiers or colon cleanses. They are meant to eliminate pounds of toxins within a relatively short period of time, and they work to also increase metabolism, eliminate cravings, and fight many other common problems.

But there are also fat burners that qualify. These are more likely to promote weight loss results of around 3-5 pounds per week. And there are some that work faster. We have heard of weight loss results of as much as 10 pounds in just 7 days! But it depends in large part on the person who happens to be using it. All in all, you will find that the speed varies depending on which diet pill you are using. But when you use diet pills that work, you will actually get results, regardless of how long you may have to wait.

Eliminating Cravings

It never works to completely ban something from your diet plan.  It’s not like smoking where you really should just go cold turkey.  You have to take time, and frankly there are steps to be taken so that eventually you don’t want that much junk food anymore or it just fits right into your diet.  First of all, you have to reduce the amount of junk food you are eating.  Don’t completely eliminate it, just tell yourself you can have this much per day and that’s it.

The best way is to actually tell yourself that you are going to eat clean during the week and then assign yourself one cheat day per week or cheat meal in which you can eat some of the foods that you love, in moderation of course.  This will help you to gradually step down without running to the problem of cravings that hit whenever you tell yourself you can’t have something all together, they get stronger.  Then replace these with foods that provide you with maybe a sweet taste that you like without all the calories.  For example try grapes for a sugary taste and they are completely healthy sugars and it only is 100 calories per 100g.  Over time, your apparent need for these foods will lessen, and you will see greater benefits.  It will just take time.
